2017 IASWG Symposium

New York University, New York, USA
Co-sponsored by the NYU Silver School of Social Work
June 7th - June 10th, 2017

Thank you for showcasing and sharing our mission at 2017 IASWG Symposium!

This year's IASWG annual symposium offered us an amazing platform to model our mission and show exactly how group work can provide creative strategies for facing change in challenging times.

Over 350 members of our IASWG community took the opportunity afforded by the 2017 IASWG Symposium to learn and celebrate together to keep group work wisdom and practice alive and thriving so that people, groups, communities, and the planet can change, survive, and flourish.

As you return to your agency or campus, remember to leverage the connections you made and carry the momentum of IASWG 2017 forward by networking with peers through social media; diving deeper into your local chapter at an upcoming professional development opportunity; or by extending your leadership by volunteering for an IASWG committee in the upcoming year.  If you haven't done so already, please take a few minutes to share feedback on your symposium experience via the brief survey which was emailed to you; your ideas will help make IASWG 2018 in South Africa even better.

Keep an eye on the IASWG Group News for recaps, highlights, and photos of our unforgettable experience!
